Eremophila alternifolia flowering: Arkaroola

Commonly known as Scented Emu Bush or Narrow-leaved Fuchsia-bush, Eremophila alternifolia is an aromatic desert plant growing on rocky slopes and hills. Leaves can be tubular or, as in this variant at Arkaroola, a wider leaved variety. Flowers range from pale pink to red, both spotted and unspotted. Eremophila alternifolia leaves are aromatic and used traditionally as internal and topical medication.
