Swainsona minutiflora is a vulnerable species. Sparsely recorded sightings have been recorded between Marree and Marla, observed on the Copley commons from winter to spring. Flowers are a tiny 2-3mm, with the plant growing to around 12cm wide.

Loose-flowered Rattlepod (Crotalaria eremaea) growing to about 1m in the sand dunes of Lyndhurst and flowering in the early spring.

Known as Wild Violet or Darling Pea, this Swainsona is flowering in rocky clay plains in the Northern Flinders Ranges in midwinter.
